Fairmont Hot Springs ski hill to open just in time for the holidays

To take a dip in the hot springs or to head to the hills with the fam over the holidays? What if we told you that you didn’t have to pick between one or the other?! The Fairmont Hot Springs Resort ski hill will open to the public Friday, December 20th, just in time for the holidays!
The Fairmont is a great place for first-time skiers, families and multitasking, and this year will be the best one yet! Ski your way through first-class powder no matter the weather thanks to their new snowmaking technology.
This new equipment will also enable them to extend their season so you’ll also have more time to do the whole soak and ski thing. What a time to be alive.

If skiing just isn’t your thing, they also have a lodge with striking views of the surrounding Rocky Mountains and a tubing and terrain park…. Which in our opinion is really where it’s at, but to each their own.
Ski passes are on sale now, and range from $52 for a regular adult day pass to $439 for a season pass. All passes also include access to the Fairmont mineral pools. You can take a look at the full price list, which includes family day and season passes on their website here!
Sometimes we tend to overwork ourselves in December. There’s so much to do and prepare for that it’s easy to forget to slow down and just enjoy the season. When the cinnamon settles and the gifts are tucked away under the tree, it’s nice to know that at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, the winter fun is just getting started.
