A look inside Inglewood’s New Orleans style live music venue
Gumbo and the blues. Those are the two words we’d use to describe The Blues Can… Although, it could also be the name of one of the bands you would hear on stage any night of the week.
The aptly named inner-city venue is where you’ll find New Orleans eats, soulful guitar riffs and a damn good time.
This Inglewood bar celebrates the music of the 1870s and the (mostly local) artists of today and features fresh talent every single evening, which is insane. We’re honestly pretty sure the owners just never sleep.
Now, we’ll level with you. The Quonset tin exterior nearly gave us the wrong impression, but their farmhouse chic front is exactly that, a total front. Don’t judge a book by its cover, friends! Inside it’s trendy, dark, intimate and the acoustics are just right.

Their menu is an eclectic mix of classic pub-style bites and cajun style comfort food. They’ve got pretty much everything you’d expect a proper Louisiana kitchen to have, from Jambalaya and Mac and Cheese with cornbread to blackened catfish and BBQ.
