5 FREE events you can’t miss during the Grey Cup Festival in Calgary
Alright, alright. So we obviously don’t get to play for the Grey Cup Trophy this year. We do, however, get the coolest consolation prize in Canada. The Grey Cup event itself, which is not too shabby if we may say so. It’s going to be an exciting week here in Calgary, but we’ve narrowed our picks down to 5 FREE events that you can’t miss during the Grey Cup Festival.
ATCO Stratosphere
Between November 20-23 football enthusiasts can check out the ATCO stratosphere, a 40-foot dome with 360-degree INTERACTIVE video projection. What’s real? What’s a simulation? We can’t promise that you won’t leave confused and disoriented, but we can promise that this will be pretty cool.

Tim Hortons Kickoff Party
Start your Grey Cup off with the same way you start off your day, with Timmy’s! Celebrate with the people who found a way to capture Canada in a cup! Enjoy live music and the company of Football Alumni at the Big Four Roadhouse.

Mini Golf at the BMO Centre
Make this Grey Cup a hole-in-one at the 50,000 square foot indoor family fun center. Play a round or two of mini-golf, check out Canadian Hall of Fame displays and stay warm at the BMO!

Tubing at Stampede Park
