The Hart family just opened a health-focused restaurant in Calgary
If you’re anything like us, you’re constantly wrestling with some insane cravings. Maybe it’s time to get into the ring with a veggie or two… Calgary’s newest resto, Hart Healthy Food, is owned by Alex Hart, daughter of Bret Hart. Yeah, like, the Bret “The Hitman” Hart – Calgary born WWE Superstar and all-around good guy.
Influenced by large dinner tables and the home-cooked meals, Hart Healthy Food is all about that farm-to-table freshness. Everything is supposed to taste as good as you should feel, and it’s all locally sourced from right here in Alberta.

Hart Healthy Food has a little bit of everything, from creative sandwiches and toasts to make-your-own bowls and smoothies. Obviously, all of it looks delicious and fresh, but healthy grilled cheese? You’re not fooling us, Hitman. Guess we’ll have to try 3 or 4 of them to see for ourselves.
Also, the menu is super accommodating, and that’s what we like to hear! There are a ton of vegetarian and gluten-free options, so everyone can dine. Best of all, HHF is in partnership with Mealshare, the ‘buy a meal, give a meal’ organization.
A guilt-free resto, owned by Calgary royalty, that makes you feel good about yourself? Yeah, sounds like a winner to us.
