The top 2 most expensive cities in Canada are Toronto and Vancouver, which are separated by a single dollar on average. Toronto clocks in at a whopping $150 for a night out while Vancouver is a mere $149. Talk about a bargain!

The rankings are based on the ‘average’ date night itinerary- ‘a mid-range dinner for two, a shared bottle of wine, two movie tickets, and an 8km taxi ride home’. Ok, very fair, we can see how things would stack up.
Calgary and Edmonton, two other major cities on the list, came in at $123 and $131, respectively. Ok, so you can save yourself roughly 20 bucks a date if you’re living in one of these. Not so bad.
