If you haven’t already heard of her, then get ready to be impressed by Bianca Andreescu tomorrow when she faces off against Serena Williams in the US Open final. The 19-year-old Rogers Cup champion beat Serena last month for the title, and now the stakes are higher than ever. If she wins, she will be the first Canadian player in history to win the US Open.
Which is probably why Twitter is going wild over her. From #shethenorth to crazy facts, everyone from CBC to Justin Trudeau is jumping on the Bianca train.
