Get free swag at the Uniqlo Alberta grand opening
*Oprah voice* you get some swag, and YOU get some swag! Everybody gets swag! Uniqlo is about to open its doors to Alberta in West Edmonton Mall, and there’s some serious swag involved, in case you couldn’t tell.
If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, let us introduce you. Reader, meet Uniqlo: A Japanese global apparel line for all, described by most as innovative, universal, and above all else, comfortable.
Now that you’ve met each other, here comes the fun stuff. The first 200 people in line for the opening will receive special edition tote bags. After entering the store and shopping around, all purchases over $75 dollars will also receive a free HEATTECH crew neck long-sleeve. Score!

This will be the be the 12th Uniqlo location in Canada, seven of which are in Toronto (greedy) and four in Vancouver.
For those unable to make it out to the 15,000 square foot mammoth of a store, you’re encouraged to download the app. Any time from now until October 4th, app users will be entered to win an all expenses paid trip to Tokyo, Japan for you and a pal! Also, they’ll take care of $500 dollars in spending money, which will get you a ton of street food.
The store will open on the second level (phase II) near the Mayfield Toyota Ice Palace. It’ll open at 10 AM sharp! So be there, or be squ…miss out on free stuff.
