This new bookstore is straight out of a Disney movie

Remember that part in Beauty and the Beast when Belle picked out her next read? In classic Disney style, she walked into the cutest little bookstore ever and sang her way into our hearts. Well, turns out adorable bookstores don’t just exist in fairytales anymore. Calgary, you’ve gotta check out The Next Page, a memorable new face in Inglewood!

We really weren’t kidding when we said this place was magical. With creaky floorboards, an antique piano, and a rolling ladder (just like the one Belle used), it’s almost like The Next Page could come to life. Just like the books on its shelves, this building has a story that’s worth telling.

We’re also in love with The Next Page’s cafe. All their drinks are “pay what you can”, so there’s literally no reason to not grab a latte to pair with your read. Plus, every bean comes from the delicious Matchstick Roasters in Vancouver! Cuddle up in one of their cozy chairs, and you’re all set.

They also have rotating gallery artists. Right now is Elise Mullen’s time to shine, so head on over to check out her work. It’s on sale throughout the store, and it will be prominently displayed for three months!
