Happy first day of Autumn, YYC! Gone are the days where we feel shame for getting over-excited about things like pumpkin spice and big woolen scarves. We’re about to ginger snap and so is the Calgary Farmyard! Fall Days are back at the acreage and this year’s events are better than ever!

Did you really even show up to this season if you don’t hit the pumpkin patch? Until October 31st, carve, pick and take photos with hundreds of the Farmyard’s gourds!

With the spirit of Thanksgiving in the air, not only will you be doing yourself some good by getting fresh air and spending time with friends and family, you’ll be giving back to local charities! This year, all carving pumpkin proceeds will actually be donated to those in need – which is major after the last few months we’ve had.

Guests can also check out 2020’s Harvest Lights, the CF’s after-dark event where they light up the entire park – with the exception of the corn maze, as people are encouraged to make their way through with nothing more than intuition and a flashlight. Spooky!

Of course, every day you’ll still be able to enjoy the farm’s other attractions and activities like the petting zoo, mini-golf, and the zip line and more – just with a bit of a nip in the air!

This is a season must-do, guys. The Calgary Farmyard really does embrace the whole ‘fall’ thing and some festive vibes could do us some good right now. Dress warm, stay safe, and enjoy, ghouls!
