Well Calgary, it’s that incredible time of year again where we celebrate love of all shapes, sizes, and forms! We personally cannot wait to rock a rainbow fit for every day of Pride, but our looks would be nothing without wicked events to wear ’em to. Stay tuned for 5 Calgary Pride events that you absolutely cannot miss!

Shake, Stir and Strainbow

Multiple venues are taking part in Eat North’s Shake, Stir and Strainbow event, creating special Pride cocktails with $1 from each sold going to the Skipping Stone Foundation! Talk about drinking for a good reason. Peek below for some of the 70+ places you can check out:

  • Anju – High Tea (peach shrub, butterfly pea tea, mount gay amber rum, Cointreau)
  • Bridgette Bar – The Dreamsicle (Tito’s vodka, Cointreau, pineapple juice, vanilla cinnamon syrup, edible rainbow glitter)
  • Lulu Bar – Age of Aquaria (coconut rum, vodka, blue curaçao, ginger, cardamom, pineapple, lime)
  • Model Milk/Pigeonhole – Channel Orange (Mount Gay Rum, Cointreau, Campari, cantaloupe juice, lime, lemon, simple syrup)
  • National on 17th – Purple Drink – Pride Edition (slurpee – vodka, Licor 43, grape crush, lemon)

Ain’t nothin’ better than brunch– except for brunch with drag. Featuring some of the biggest names in Canadian drag, the WERK Drag Brunch is gonna be insane. Hosts Mr. Terri Stevens and Misty Meadows are bringing their A-game alongside some seriously wicked performances:

Pure Pride’s 14th annual PRIDE PARTY stars Rupaul’s Drag Race stars Yvie Oddly, A’Keria C. Davenport and the fabulous Nina West! DJ Darkstar will be spinning tracks to keep the dance floor jumping all night, so grab your tix before this party inevitably sells out!

Much Music Video Dance- Pride Edition
