Ahhh, the Loop. So many good mems here! We, like true hipsters, loved it before it got ~hip~ and ~trendy~ but now that it’s even cooler than before, we’re not mad. Welcome back to another Neighbourhood Guide, Calgary! Here’s all the best things to do during a day in Marda Loop.

This health nut-friendly zone has ready to eat foods made with a majority of local foods from sustainable farms. In fact, they’ve got a network of over 40 Alberta farms and producers up their sleeve. Impressed? ‘Cause we are.
Party like it’s your birthday
This place can make macarons shaped like flamingos. Need we say more? Yes? Okay, fine. We’re obsessed with 8cakes not only because they kill the bake game… But also ’cause they’ve got GF, dairy free, eggless and vegan options available, too. Next bday cake is *def* coming from here.
Check out 8 different bars in one
Sorry booze fans, we teased you with that one. Distilled does have 8 bars in one, though: from fingers to brows to bare, they’ve got your beauty needs covered. They also serve Rosso Coffee & Espresso, along with tasty wines, tapas and gluten free treats!

Okay beer fans, now’s your time to shine. MLB not only shares the same acronym as major league baseball, but it gets a home run in terms of beer every time. *And* they let puppies on their patio. God bless.
