To celebrate 50 years of operations, the YBW Springbank Airport will be hosting a spectacular airshow featuring the Canadian Forces Snowbirds.
With over 60 types of aircraft dazzling audiences in the air and on the ground, the Wings Over Springbank Airshow is sure to be something special. Not only that, but proceeds from the event will be going directly to Wellspring Calgary.

Wellspring is a local network of community-based cancer support centres, offering its services and resources free of charge. So, you get to take in some spectacular entertainment while raising money for a great cause. Sounds like a pretty good weekend, doesn’t it?
Also, this year’s Snowbirds show features a neat little story to it. A member of the Snowbirds, Major Denis Bandet, first learned to fly at the Springbank Airport. Now, years later, he’s set to lead Canada’s finest acrobatic pilots through a performance at the same airport. Pretty, pretty cool.

The Springbank Airshow show typically grabs upwards of 20,000 spectators, so be sure to plan your visit ahead of time! We’ll see you there, Calgary!
