One of the most authentic Italian dining experiences in Calgary just got a little better. Franca’s Italian Specialties, a true family-style restaurant, has introduced a new offering for July and August that’s right out of a foodie’s dream.

Firstly, if you don’t know much about Franca’s we’ll give you a quick rundown. This Edmonton Trail spot prides itself on bringing a little bit of Italy to the heart of Calgary. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Sundays, presumably because those are days truly reserved for family. Either that or cooking so much delicious food requires a few serious rest days.

Ingredients at Franca’s Italian Specialties are prepared fresh each and every day. The main dish we want to tell you about is the ‘Chef’s Board’, and boy, oh boy, it’s a screamer of a deal.
