Well, looks like OpenTable isn’t going to run out of fun ways to rank restaurants anytime soon. This time, they have found Canada’s most scenic restaurants from coast to coast. It is truly a national ranking, with practically every (southern) province represented in the list. What the heck, OpenTable, no love for the north?
Here’s a quick rundown.

Vancouver ended up in 1st place, with 11 restaurants in the immediate metropolitan area. Toronto came second with 10. We barely beat out Edmonton, with 4 on the list compared to their 3. Although, since the rankings are based on customer data between June 1, 2018, and May 31, 2019, we don’t expect them to be as comprehensive as possible.
If anything, we think that the list is a great reference point for the next time you found yourself on an impromptu road trip. Whether it’s the GTA or Vancouver Island, OpenTable has got you covered.
Anyway, here’s all the ones from Calgary that made it:
Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant
Deane House
The Lake House
River Café
And here’s Edmonton, in case you’re venturing out there sometime soon:
The Butternut Tree
Fumaca Brazilian Steakhouse
La Ronde – Chateau Lacombe
