Calgary is getting a magical Harry Potter inspired pop up bar this winter!

Yer a wizard, Harry. And, yer finally able to really dive into the adult version of potions class. The Wizard’s Cauldron is the latest Harry Potter inspired pop-up to announce a stop in Calgary, so start practicing your best English accent now (it’s leviOsa, not levioSA!!).

The experience offers a fully immersive, 90-minute long potions class. You and your fellow wizards will be challenged with a mix of magic and mixology. Robes and wands will be provided for the event, too. Although, if one found you on a recent trip to Ollivander’s you’re welcome to use that.

The Wizard’s Cauldron will be setting up shop for three days only in November. Considering the roaring success of recent pop-up bars, we think this one is sure to sell out.

Here’s what the full experience entails:

• Classic wizard outfits to wear while you’re there.
• Tasty mead and an alcoholic potion
• A potion making class with a ‘potion master’
• Plus, a cash bar in case one isn’t enough (when is it)

We’re going to spend the weekend before watching all of the HP movies to get in the mood. And drinking butter beer, ’cause we gotta prep for the boozy portion, too. We’re not going into a Harry Potter bar unprepared, Calgary.
