Canadian passport moves up in worldwide power ranking

We have to say, it pays to be the ‘nice country’ when it comes to the power of a Canadian passport. The most recent report from Henley Passport Index places us in a tie for sixth place, alongside 6 other countries. We don’t mind that standing at all.
What’s more important though is that our passport is now equally as strong as both America’s and England’s. The sun never sets on the English empire, hey? Try telling that to the good folks in Japan and Singapore, who are tied for first place.

Time for one more shot at our friends across the pond. It is anticipated that their ranking will continue to slide if they actually achieve Brexit. Well, achieve is the wrong word. Maybe allows works better?
As it currently stands, Canadians can travel to 183 countries without a visa or will be granted a visa-on-arrival. That’s a pretty hefty number, and we doubt we will get to visit them all. Sad.
Keep up the good work, Canada! We want to be the most diplomatic country in the world, and we feel like our passport power is a good indication of that.
