Well, well, well, Calgary. The sun is shining and Stampede season is right around the corner! That means it’s high time to dust off those boots and get your two-stepping, plaid-wearing self ready for a blast. But before you go full Stampede mode for ten days of rip-roaring fun, let’s test the waters with an awesome community party. Here’s everything you need to know about the Calgary Stampede Community Round-Up presented by Global Calgary!

What to expect:

There will be a morning full of fun out at YMCA Seton. Never been there? Well, prepare to be sufficiently blown away. The entire place is built for fun and games and activities, so it’s the perfect spot to kick off the Stampede vibes.

But hey, before you start burning energy you should probably fuel up. Good thing the Stampede Round-Up will be serving a free pancake breakfast! Oh yes, Calgary, this is a true Stampede party.

Once you’re done devouring some delicious pancakes, it’s time to kick the fun up a notch. In true Stampede fashion, the Round-Up is ready to deliver some serious entertainment. Go ahead and loosen up the limbs so you can join in the square dancing. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, then head over to the mosaic making and face painting with the fam.

Do you want to be amazed? Of course, you do. That’s why the aerial performers will be showcasing some demos of their talents as well. If this is all sounding like the true Stampede to you, that’s because it’s the next best thing!
