An iconic outdoors store opened its first Calgary spot

We all love IKEA, and now it’s time to welcome a new Swedish fish to the mix. Everybody say hi to Fjällräven (fee-y’all-rah-ven)! The name may look scary, but we promise you this is the coolest outdoors store you’ll see in a while.
We say this because Fjällräven is super committed to sustainability. Every step of the production process considers environmental impact, from material selection to actual composition. Plus, their Arctic Fox Initiative uses $$ from specific products to protect the flora, fauna, and outdoor life we all know and love!

If you’re considering a summer hike, it’s time to hit these guys up for a lil’ fashion inspo. Rock a Kånken backpack at Grassi Lakes! Or strike a pose at Ptarmigan Cirque with a Bergtagen Eco-Shell Jacket! The mountain goats will be quaking.
Oh, and don’t forget to take advantage of their unique customization options! They’ve got an in-house tailor *plus* on-site waxing of any materials, which is pretty cool if we say so ourselves. Check ’em out Calgary!
