8 Things To Do in Calgary This Week (May 20 – 24)
Wowza, what a long weekend, eh? We hope you had fun Calgary, now it’s back to the grind. Well, kind of. We may or may not slack over the next few days. Anyway, here’s 8 things to keep you busy this week!
Christian Dior exhibit at the Glenbow
Using the “unparalleled corporate fashion archive” from Christian Dior Héritage, Paris, and the Royal Ontario Museum’s “remarkable collection of Christian Dior haute couture,” this showcase is a blast from the past… and boy, is it a fashionable one. Check it out before it’s gone on June 2!

Market Collective
Market Collective is taking over BMO Centre Hall A with 150 artists and food vendors! Also there’s “interactive special installations and features”. We don’t know what it means, but it sounds interesting. Pop on over for food trucks, DJs, live music, a skateboard park, and shop “from the amazingly talented local creative community”!
When: May 24 at 4 PM – 9 PM; May 26 at 10 AM – 6 PM

Vintage Redefined Market
You into true vintage? Got a thing for collectibles? Get all flustered over a good antique? Us too, which is why we’re stoked to let you know about Vintage Redefined Market! It’s decked out with over 25,000 sq. ft. of vendor space. What’s more, they’ve got a rad line up of incredible local and national vendors. Basically, you’ll have a toooon of stuff to look through!
When: Friday May 24 @ 5:00pm – 9:00pm (VIP ticket holders get in 1 hour early at 4:00pm); Saturday May 25 @ 10:00am – 5:00pm

Whether you call it football or soccer, you gotta come out to support our city’s newest team. Make ’em feel at home, Calgary! And maybe get a little rowdy in the stands.

PARK Shopping Night
PARK will be hosting a shopping night on May 23rd at ESPY Experience! Head down to the trendy Inglewood boutique to get some fashion tips from expert stylists and meet and mingle with Quebec designers.

DINE UNDER THE STARS 2019
You’ll be able to stargaze and take in the views of Fish Creek Park, all while chowing down on an elegant 4-course meal. There will be wine, champagne, and absolutely no chance of getting wet since the domes are weather protective. If this doesn’t sound like an ideal dinner for you, we don’t know what will.

Top Drop Calgary
Hotel Arts’ annual grand tasting is back! Featuring international, terroir-focused wineries, craft breweries, cideries, and the people behind them, this is a can’t-miss event. Pro tip: get your tix early, since Early-Bird Ticket price is only $75 until May 5th! After that, you’re stuck with a $95 price tag. Don’t wait!

At 7:00 pm on Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25, the doors at Manulife Place open and PARKSHOW begins! If you’re not one of the informed, fashionable types, you can expect a full market full of trendy vendors, tons of local food to eat, and plenty of Canadian designers to enjoy!
