Hola Calgs, it’s time to take a walk down a very Mexican road. How come? Well, there’s a new restaurant in Chinatown– and they’re seriously killing the taco game. Everyone, please give a warm welcome to Moose & Poncho.
Not only does this place give us an adorable mental image (meese in ponchos? Friggen aww!), but it’s got a wicked Latin menu. Mix and match your way to taste bud heaven with unique taco fillings like suadero (not brisket but close), chicharron prensado (pressed pork) or green chorizo.

And did we mention it’s only $3.50 for a soft taco?! Yep, guys, it’s pretty sweet. But we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention their delicious fried quesadillas, chile rellenos, or fresh churros too.
The location might seem totally obscure, but that’s kinda the fun of it. Personally, we’re totally charmed by the lil wall decorations. It’s quirky, it’s cute, it’s Mexcellent.
Go see what the hype is all about, Calgary! With ingredients this fresh, you really can’t go wrong. Unless you don’t get churros. (Rookie mistake.)
