According to the latest worldwide rankings of airports, Edmonton has got the best in the land. Huh, we did not see that one coming. The rankings come from AirHelp, a website that helps passengers receive compensation following disrupted flights.

The rankings were based on on-time performance, service quality, and food and shops available. Edmonton came in at an overall score of 7.83, just beating out Calgary at 7.6. The two were 39th and 59th worldwide, respectively.

Vancouver came in at 68 with a score of 7.46. Toronto Pearson was way down there at 108 with a score of 6.97. We prefer both airports over Edmonton and Calgary (sorry), but hey, we’re partial travellers and like big spaces.

AirHelp also ranked the world’s airlines. You could probably guess that Westjet did well, and you’re right. They’re ranked 7th worldwide. Air Canada came in at 39th, while Air Transat brought up the rear at 44th.

We like those numbers, so shoutout to AirHelp. You can check out the rankings in full here.
