“Deerioca” bubble tea is coming soon to Calgary
Sure, you’ve had bubble tea… but have you ever had deerioca? We didn’t think so. Now’s your chance to try it, since international Taiwanese bubble tea chain The Alley is officially opening its first AB location!
First off, no deers were harmed in the making of this tapioca (phew). The name plays off The Alley’s deer logo, so us Bambi lovers can enjoy it too! In fact, it’s a must-try, since this place makes the dough, kneads it, rolls it, and creates the delicious texture and aroma from scratch.

But they don’t stop there! The Alley also makes their own sugar cane syrup, too. They pick all-natural, high-quality sugar canes and boil them in-house for an original flavour. Trust us, this stuff is tasty.
You definitely have to try the Deerioca Puff, their signature drink mixed with sweet custard pudding. Or go for Deerioca Matcha. Or the Jasmine Green Milk Tea. Honestly, just try it all.
