Hello, fellow food-eaters! Mealshare’s biggest fundraising event is happening in Vancouver, Calgary, and Ottawa this Wednesday, May 8th. This one-night fundraiser is nothing fancy- no speeches, no tickets, no fancy gowns. It’s just regular dinner service at participating restaurants. For every $1 spent on food, $1 will be donated to grow the mealshare program!
Everyone’s gotta eat, so you might as well do it at your fave spots this Wednesday!

If you’re not familiar with Mealshare, then here’s the scoop: Mealshare is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to ending youth hunger not only in Canada but around the globe.
Currently, one in six Canadian kids is food insecure. However, it was one in three kids 15 years ago, so hey- things are moving forward! Mealshare is dedicated to making sure that they end youth hunger in our lifetime. We’re dedicated to making sure everyone can do their part to help out.

See below for our personal faves that are participating, and the dishes you just NEED to try. Remember though, everything on the dinner menu gives back (not just the Mealshare item!!)
Anju – Fried Brussel Sprouts & Oxtail Tortellini
Cardinale – Mushroom Gnocchi & Linguine Carbonara
GRETA Bar – Spam Sliders & Cereal Milk Panna Cotta
One Night Stan’s – Tempura Sticky Balls & Mozza Tots
Calcutta Cricket Club – Chips and Curry & Lamb Shank
Ten Foot Henry – Tomatoes w/ Feta & Cacio e Pepe
The Bro’Kin Yolk (Mahogany & Creekside) – Oscar Benny & Bro’s Breakfast
Yellow Door Bistro – Beet Carbonara Ricotta Gnocchi & Seared Scallop and Prawn Risotto
So hey, get out there and enjoy yourselves, folks! Your tummies and your hearts will be full knowing that you’re contributing to such a great cause. And, it doesn’t hurt that you’ll be eating at some of the best spots in the city!
Happy eating!
