The Calgary Folk Fest announces 2019 lineup

If you didn’t know, this year marks the 40th anniversary of the Calgary Folk Music Festival, and they have pulled out all the stops. Running four days at the end of July, the fest has over 70 artists on the lineup.

Held in Prince’s Island Park, you can expect a wide variety of music, ranging from soul to country and, of course, folk. As an added bonus, there will be a second stage outside of the grounds that focuses on free concerts.
We have a feeling that the Folk Fest will be a hit for music lovers of all ages. Full honesty though- we need to brush up on the artist list before we can provide our recommendations. So, stay tuned for that as we get closer to the event.
