Psst! You there, with the tendency to leave the lights on! We’re here to tell you to knock it off. We’re also here to tell you that it’s time to do your part by joining us at Calgary Unplugged!

What is that, you ask? Essentially, it’s you and your fam taking a stand by sitting in the dark. (It’s more fun than it sounds, we promise.) You’ll be joining millions of other green folks around the world, as everyone collectively turns off their lights and electronics for Earth Hour.

In Calgary, it’s all going down at Confluence Plaza on St. Patrick’s Island. Aside from it being very dark, there’ll also be free hot chocolate, bike-powered music and lights, kids’ nature games and lots more.

Bring an eco-friendly light, drum, costume, lantern or decorate your bike to take part in the fun stuff. As Earth Hour kicks off, so will the shenanigans. We’re talkin’ a DJ dance Party, activities, fire pits, games, and a Bicycle Brewery Tour and walk to Cabin and Ol’ Beautiful. Cheers, are we right?
