Rental of the Week: Union Square, 215 13 Ave SW

Via RentFaster

Alright, folks! Here is the inaugural “Rental of the Week” segment on Curiocity Calgary. We will now highlight condos, apartments, and lofts for rent all over the city on a weekly basis. Here you can keep an eye on what’s trending, spot the rental property of your dreams, or just find the next spot to rent while you drool over the possibilities of owning when you’re old and (maybe) rich enough. Enjoy!

First up is the top-floor spot at Union Square, 215 13 Avenue SW. It’s something that might be a little out of budget, but goodness gracious it sure is pretty. Coming in at over 2400 square feet of space, this 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom penthouse is perfect for when you need to entertain dozens of friends for a quiet game night or if it’s your turn to host every book club in Calgary all at once.

Union Square is already a supremely lovely building, but the very top floor is a very unique experience. Just look at this ridiculous view! You’ve got the entire city skyline right in the palm of your hand. Oh, and if you’re wondering where to enjoy such a spectacular view from, maybe the over 1500 square foot private balcony will answer that. You can chill on the patio, maybe toss a few shrimp on the barbie and entertain, or just go straight rooftop-relaxin’ and sit yourself down in your very own hot tub.

Inside, the living room and kitchen both sport angles for delightful views of their own. A gas fireplace ads a bit of coziness to the huge space, and the built-in cappucino machine and dual-zone wine storage ensure that you’ve got everything you need to never leave this place.

The main floor also houses the guest bedroom and 5-piece ensuite that is practically the size of an apartment itself. We figure you might need 1 or 2 or 10 roommates to help cover the rent, so a second bedroom like this is a nice (not-so) little bonus.

Upstairs you’ll find a master fit for a King, a Queen, and the rest of the Royal Family. The walk-in closet is perfect for a couple hundred pairs of shoes, 60-70 evening gowns or suits, or even a few willing tenants. Add in the incredible custom built-ins, a steam shower in the 6-piece ensuite, and untouchable views, and you’ve got an absolute dream bedroom.

Living at Union Square provides you with plenty of options as far as lifestyle goes. Central Memorial Park is right on your doorstep, along with some of the best restaurants and bars in the city. If you’re a Flames (or Cowboys Casino) fan, the Saddledome and Victoria Park are just a few minutes walk away.

At $7000 a month, this is a pretty penny for a pretty place. Make friends into roommates, smash some piggy banks, and do what you gotta do if you think this spot is right for you. Otherwise, join us and enjoy looking and dreaming at the property.
