Roll Up The Rim is back and easier than ever

Listen up, because there are fewer things more Canadian than a) the entrepreneurial spirit and b) roll up the rim at Tim’s. Well, Roll Up The Rim is back on February 6th, and wouldn’t ya know it, someone’s entrepreneurial spirit is set to take advantage of that.

In what can only be described as a stroke of genius, Lee Valley Tools has been selling a keychain that expedites the rim rolling process. That’s right, folks, rolling up the rim and (probably) seeing that condescending and lifeless “Please Play Again” message staring right back at you has never been easier.

We know what you’re thinking- Lee Valley? The same place that sells Japanese hand saws and hella expensive Crokinole boards? Yes, exactly, and they’re selling this bad boy for only $2.95 plus tax. Aptly named the Rimroller, this product has been around for over a decade, and so we’re disappointed in ourselves for not bringing attention to it sooner. Also sorry for the poor quality pictures, we guess there aren’t too many professional photo shoots for this product (yet).

Also, we must comment on what might be the greatest product description of all time. We don’t know who writes them, but you got to have some serious skills to incorporate a Ralph Waldo Emerson quote into the description of a doodad/thingamajig.

We haven’t heard too much about any crazy new prizes or offerings for this year’s Roll Up The Rim, but if you’re looking for a fresh set of wheels then one of the 40 Jeep Compasses available might pique your interest. Other than that, expect the same kinds of TV’s, cash prizes, gift cards, and ‘coffee & a donut’ prizes that have been available in previous years.

Anyways, we implore you to purchase this product either for yourself to show off at parties or for your friend that will not stop talking about their “1 in 6” chances of winning as they visit their local Tim’s 3 times daily.
