The Drop-in Centre is in need of warm clothing & now you can donate via Amazon

There’s no denying how cold it is outside right now. For this reason, it’s more important than ever that places like the Calgary Drop-In Centre have everything they need to help those less fortunate.

Pre-COVID it was easy to drop off donations in person, however, due to restrictions, those who want to give to the organization might feel apprehensive to do so.

This has put them in a pretty tough position, but, as anyone who has been caught between a rock and hard place knows all too well, sometimes an unfortunate situation is what you need to see things differently.

Now, in order to help people who need it the most while also keeping the community safe, The Drop-In Centre has modernized.

In order to reach out, the non for profit has actually created an Amazon wishlist that they hope will enable more Calgarians to purchase and donate essential items.

These items include things like:

  •  Sweatpants and snow pants (all genders/sizes)
  •  Women’s shirts/sweaters
  •  Winter boots (all genders/sizes)
  •  New or gently used winter coats and gloves (Large and small are most needed, but all sizes welcome)
  • Razors
  •  Tylenol/Advil
  •  Throat lozenges
  •  Lysol wipes

But that’s just naming a few. To view the entire list or to actually make a donation, we encourage you to either visit Amazon here or the Calgary Drop-In Centre website here. There are a lot of people who need our help, so if you’re able –  why not help. It could make a huge difference in the life of another Canadian.
