Wow! Calgary’s Milk Jar Candle Co. raised over $40k for local children’s charity in 2020
Finally, some heartwarming news from 2020! Solidifying its spot as one of Calgary’s favourite small businesses, Milk Jar has announced that thanks to everyone who purchased one of their candles last year, they were able to donate over $40k to the G.R.I.T. society.
If you weren’t already aware, Milk Jar chooses one charity every year, pledging one dollar from every item sold to the organization at the end of the year.

“Our hearts are beyond full! Our 2020 partnership with milk jar Candle Co. ended with happy tears when they revealed that they had raised $41,780 for G.R.I.T. Calgary Society!” they said on their website.
G.R.I.T. is an organization that provides individualized education and therapy for children with disabilities.
“This donation will make a huge difference in the lives of some amazing kiddos and their families!” they continued in their statement.
