Calgary has a brand new Asian street food spot on 17th Ave
Alright, so we know that we can’t hit the resto/lounge scene right now – but you best believe that when we can, it’s going to be a fine time – especially with all of the new spots that are opening all over the city! One in particular that we cannot wait to check out, is Jia Jia – a new Asian street food joint with standards higher than the Bow Building.
From unreal menu items like the Macau pork chop burger, the Singapore style curry vermicelli, bubble tea and a variety of tasty shareables, we can almost guarantee that no one will leave this place hungry.

However, unlike most Asian street food spots, Calgarians with a craving can also grab a proper drink from their fully stocked bar. Thank goodness, because we’re going to need something cold and when all of this is over! Sorry couch wine, but there’s really no substitute for a round with some friends.
