Jupiter & Saturn will be close enough to look like a giant ‘Christmas star’ tonight

It’s going to be a holiday to remember, folks! This week, for the first time in 400 years Jupiter and Saturn, the solar system’s largest planets, will nearly collide with one another appearing in the night sky to us earthlings, to be one giant star.

If you’ve been keeping tabs on this great conjunction over the last two weeks, then we don’t need to tell you that this particular celestial event has been insanely cool to watch.

Night after night, we’ve watched the two come together all in anticipation for this evening when the two will cozy right up next to each other.

No one has seen anything like this in our lifetime, so we highly recommend looking up in hopes of seeing what some have dubbed calling the ‘Christmas star.’

IF it’s a clear evening, all it’ll take to see this one is a pair of eyes to see it all go down,  but in the event that it’s super overcast, you can also watch it happen here on a live stream.

Honestly, we can’t think of a better way to end 2020 than this – so don’t miss it! Happy viewing, friends!
