Disney+ has changed the game once again. First, they launch their streaming platform, then they breathe life back into the Star Wars universe with the Mandalorian and now – they’ve announced that they’ll be teaming up with FX and 20th Century Studios to give us Star, a brand new service within their service.

Star is basically Canada’s answer to Hulu and will likely give Disney+ subscribers access to shows like Atlanta and films like The Shape of Water and Die Hard.

In order to roll out thousands of new titles, the platform did confirm that they will be raising their price by $3 – which sucks, but makes perfect sense. Entertainment isn’t free, kids!

Now, if you’re not quite sure if it’s worth it, don’t panic! You will have plenty of time to think about whether or not you want to cancel because Star won’t officially roll out until Tuesday, February 23rd, 2021.

This is big news, friends – so let us know what you think! We’ll likely be sticking to it – we hear Atlanta season three is going to be huge and we believe it. Everything Donny G touches is gold.
