We have a sneaky suspicion that this year, ski and snowboard season will be crazier than ever before. With event cancellations and the capacity of indoor activities limited, people will be jonesing to head to the hills – luckily, if the Lake Louise Ski Resort has anything to say about it, they won’t have to wait much longer!
According to a very loud red banner on their website – the resort will actually open tomorrow, October 29th.

With both the Glacier Chair and Grizzly Gondola fully operational, along with seven runs open for business, this will be the earliest ever that the resort has allowed people on their lifts.
Of course, due to the pandemic, things at Lake Lousie will look a little bit different than years before it. For example, masks must be worn on all lifts, in the lines as well as the lodges; bags must not be left anywhere but in a locker and everyone will be required to sanitize often. The usual.
So dust off those goggles and pick up your passes, folks. Ski season is officially here and you won’t want to miss a beat.
