We don’t know about you, Calgary, but we’re itching for a road trip. So get that playlist ready, buckle up, and come with us on a magical adventure to Edmonton. Yes, we’re serious. And yes, we’re well aware that doesn’t sound like a dream getaway…but we promise, the enchanting Ice Castles there are definitely worth the 3-hour trek.

If you’re into Narnia, you’re gonna be into this. Crafted by hand using only icicles and water, this acre-sized castle is absolute magic. You can snap a selfie in the throne room, get cozy in front of the waterfall and get lost in the winding ice maze– wherever you go at this place, you’re gonna be having a good time.

It’s the Ice Castles’ fourth birthday, so you know they’re pulling out all the stops. In addition to all the cool stuff we already mentioned, you can expect glowing icy tunnels, fountains, slides, and cascading towers of ice embedded with color-changing, musically-timed LED lights… so yeah, like we said– it’s absolute magic.
Don’t miss this one Calgary! We’ll see you there.
