Calgary Zoolights to return next month with 2,000,000 lights!
We haven’t even opened our variety box of Halloween Candy yet, but here we are, already talking about the holiday season. Just this week, we’ve seen several ‘wintery-wonderland’ events come out of the woodwork; so it’s no surprise that one of Calgary’s most beloved attractions is also prematurely throwing their Santa-hat into the ring. Earlier this week, the Calgary Zoo announced that for the 24th year in a row, Zoolights would be back, and brighter than ever!
From November 20th until January 3rd (excluding December 25th), like every year before it, guests can ogle millions of enchanting lights strung through the trees, over the buildings and along the pathways of the Calgary Zoo.

Once you’ve taken in the incredible display, grab a hot cocoa, a snack and take a seat by the fire! Maybe go for a lap or two around their skating rink, or pop a squat with the big man himself.
This year, in order to keep everyone safe, tickets will be timed and capacity will likely be limited so it’s more important than ever to grab your passes ASAP!
These bad boys are not on sale just yet, but the zoo has promised that they will be available later this month so we’ll be on standby!
You definitely don’t want to miss this one, folks. It’s a tradition after all!
