T-minus two weeks and counting! ‘Devils Night’ is just around the corner, and if you’re like us, you’re still scrambling for a costume and a pair of plans, because for the first time in what feels like a lifetime, we’ve got an entire day and night to enjoy the spookiest day of the year! Now, to help you guys out, we’ve done a little research and come up with 5 of the best things to do on Halloween this year! Now it’s just a matter of picking one!

ASPEN CROSSING TRAIN OF TERROR

Are you afraid of the dark, Calgary? This Halloween, the only thing scarier than forgetting your mask at the grocery store is those that lurk in the shadows on Aspen Crossings Train of Terror. This spooky must-visit is entirely immersive and will keep guests moving, wondering, waiting and screaming.

SCREAMFEST

Screamfest will hit different this year, but man oh, man will it be just as, if not MORE terrifying than last year, or the years before it. From clowns, criminals and basically anything and everything that lurks in the dark, under your bed and in your nightmares – Screamfests attractions will keep you up and alert, long after you’ve left the grounds.

THE GREAT PUMPKIN SMASH AT TELUS SPARK 

If you’re not the haunted house type, consider checking out Telus Spark’s Great Pumpkin Smash! With a pumpkin catapult, uniquely gooey science shows and a surprisingly adorable reptile meet and greet, the science centres’ hourly activities will keep you safe, warm and in the spirit of things on October 30th and 31st.

FIELD OF SCREAMS

With spooky attractions, occupied by ghouls and ghosts, clowns and aliens, you’ll have to do your very best to creep your cool during 2020’s Field of Screams, presented by Cobb’s Adventure Park. PUMPKIN DAYS AT THE CALGARY FARMYARD

So you’re staying in and handing out candy this year? Let those kidlets know that you’re home by lighting a big ol’ pumpkin.  Head to the Calgary Farmyard and pick the perfect Jack o’ lantern, play some outdoor carnival games. Visit with farm animals, hit the pedal carts, or grab something tasty and make some mems along the way on the big day, before heading back home!
