En garde! Rally the troops, don thy burlap and hath no fear. This October, Calgary’s most noble can fully immerse themselves in magic and merriment during the second annual Medieval Faire and Artisan Market!
We’re not ashamed to admit that we’ve seen The Princess Bride and A Knight’s Tale an inconceivable amount of times, OR that while on a trip to Florida in the 6th grade, we begged our parents to take us to the MT Dinner Theatre & Tournament so we could eat without any utensils. Ahh, the mems.

Sword fighting, armour, and 15th-century slang are freaking cool and so is eating a turkey leg with your hands – which is why we are unapologetically stoked for this totally over-the-top event.
For two whole days, lords, ladies, sages, and squires can mix and mingle (at a safe distance) with merchants and entertainers including jugglers, stilt walkers, and magicians.
Now, because we do still live in the age of COVID, we do feel that it’s important to remind you guys that although this event hasn’t been cancelled publically just yet, things could change in an instant.
As of right now, tickets are still available for purchase but there hasn’t been any word on what exactly they’ll be doing to monitor or control any spread of the virus between guests.
Please, if you do choose to go, be careful, stay safe, and be prepared. In the event that it does get cancelled, just remember that there’s always next year! Times are crazy and unpredictable, but we’ll get through this, folks. We guarantee it.
