BYO takeout to a wine tasting at this urban Calgary Winery!
Wine and takeout? Where do we sign up? Apparently, you don’t actually have to have a field of grapes to make a good glass of red! At City & Country, there are no fruity feet and there’s no need for a trip to Italy or Sonoma, all you’ll have to do to have a fresh glass of the good stuff, is get your friends or family together and head to the SE of Calgary.
Using a bit of science and imported grapes from all over Canada, C&C is able to mass ferment and age sugar-free, gluten-free, vegan vino in-house. These folks actually use something called ‘Flexcubes and Oenotanks’ to make their brand without having to use additional flavours or colours, which is a nifty little process that we couldn’t even begin to explain (or understand for that matter.)

Do you know who could though? The folks at City & Country! By booking one of their private tastings, you’ll learn everything about their process from vine to glass… while also trying everything from their rouge and blanc to the rosé. That’s a lot of wine, fam.
