Shelter is hosting a tasty Spanish tapas pop-up this week
Shelter is at it again, Calgary! The cocktail bar has teamed up with spicy local industry legend, Chef Chris Picek for another delicious (but temporary) Spanish tapas event with a new menu that will blow your tastebuds away.
Big wig, Picek, has previously worked as the head chef at Tapas Bodega in Canmore, will take over Shelter’s kitchen tomorrow, August 25th, and man, are we ready.

For four straight days, guests can indulge in over the top flavourful eats like braised chicken with fresh chanterelles and Chioggia beets with manchego and Honeycrisp apple. Wow.
That’s not all, though, oh no. Those looking for something sweet can dive into a delicious clover honey parfait made with tasty, fresh ingredients. Drool.
