One of Calgary’s favourite obstacle/trampoline centres closes after 4 years

Well, Calgary, you’re going to have to find a different spot to run, jump and hang on things faster, further and longer than the average human being, because Injanation is the most recent hotspot to close permanently due to the COVID-19 virus.
“We want to thank you for supporting InjaNation for the last four years. We grew from an idea into a well-established brand where thousands of children, young adults and families have come to have fun, exercise, develop skills and confidence,” they said on their website.

Unfortunately, despite trying to adapt and evolve while also staying committed to charitable organizations and community teams, surviving in an economy of rising costs and taxes was challenging, ultimately giving them no choice but to close their doors on August 30th.
Injanation said that they will be issuing refunds for things like birthday parties, and completely understand the public’s reluctance to participate in their regular pre-COVID activities. They also added that they really see “no end in sight to this pandemic,” which is extremely sad to hear.
They concluded the post encouraging Calgarians to shop, play and eat at locally owned businesses, and wishing everyone “everyone health, happiness and safety.”
As we’ve said in similar stories to this one, our heart goes out to the employees and their families. These are difficult times, folks. We’ll need each other to get through this! Please give where you can and support where you can. #CommunityOverCOVID.
