Craving hand-pulled, homemade Lanzhou? Well, until now, there was only one place in YYC where you could grab a bowl of the good stuff without flying across the world. Shame. Luckily, today, we come bearing some great news, hungry friends! Calan Beef Noodle, one of Calgary’s most authentic street food restaurants, has just opened its second location!

This week, the folks behind the one-of-a-kind made fresh to order soup, announced that they would be swinging a pair of doors open right in from of the inner city’s West-Kirby Station, and we’re overjoyed!

This spot will abide by the same principles that their other location does: Good food, made from scratch right in front of your eyes. This place is not just where you go for a meal, its where you go for an experience!

If you’re not ready to dine out just yet, which is understandable, these guys are also on Skip the Dishes and Uber, but they’re also doing pick up – so there’s really no reason why you can’t eat like royalty tonight.

Soup in heat like this? Why the hell not! Thank goodness for air-conditioning!
