East Village’s new chef-driven Soleil Bistro & Bar opens today!
So much food. So little stomach room. Unbutton your pants, YYC. A very tasty looking joint, Soleil Bistro & Bar, just opened to the public in the heart of the East Village today! If you’re familiar with the delicious offerings from Patisserie Du Soleil, a family-owned French resto & bakery with spots in Woodbine and The Bow, then you’ll love this spot.
Frech-inspired Soleil offers lunch, dinner and has an out-of-this-world breakfast menu. Here, you can sift through familiar large plates and handhelds, and order one-of-a-kind cocktails that burn blue. Sounds like a dynamite spot!

Obviously we haven’t checked it out just yet, but we can imagine that it certainly won’t be that far off from amazing. Everything here is made from scratch, using only fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and quality meats.
