Shocker! Calgary’s weather calling for heat & thunderstorms this week

Well, we certainly can’t say that we’re surprised, folks. July has been a pretty wet month, and it looks like mother nature doesn’t have any plans to switch it up quite yet. This week, Calgary’s weather forecast is calling for more thunderstorms, but also a high of 28° C, so that’s nice.

Honestly, this summer has been so stereotypically Calgary it’s almost laughable. Blue skies one minute, grey skies and pouring rain the next. We’ve gone from tanning and patio beers to rushing inside so we don’t get impaled by golf ball-sized hail. What a ride it’s been.

With the exception of Tuesday, which is when we’ll see our weekly high, and Friday, Calgarians planning to go out and about should consider also making an indoor backup plan.

Showers will be scattered, so we hope you chose to still live your best life, but it’s important to be prepared! Maybe August will have a more consistent forecast in store for us. Consider our fingers crossed! As always Calgary’s weekly weather forecast could change on a dime so remember to check the Weather Network before heading out!

Enjoy yourselves out there!
