YYC is about to get a whole lot tastier! A brand new mochi donut place will be opening in all its glory (holes) this week and we could not be more excited! From gluten-free caramel miso to cookies and cream, Amaido Cafe in Calgary looks like it might just be an all in one, one for all stop for a sweet snack and a warm bevy.

The fresh little Chinatown bakery will officially launch on June 24th for takeout, dine-in AND online pick-up, accommodating those who are ready to head out AND those who would rather stay in. No matter what your sitch is, you can still enjoy a good mochi-nut!

Honestly, guys, if these things are half as good as they look, we’ll be on cloud nine. Donuts are a dessert favourite, so we are more than ready to take this place on.

If you don’t have a sweet tooth but still want to check it out, they also have teas, Vietnamese coffee (drool), classic drip, and a ‘fizz drink’ that will change weekly, made with soda and chilled herbal goodness.

These guys will be taking pre-orders for tomorrow’s grand opening, but act fast! They only have limited supply! Happy munching!
