Goodness gracious, Canada. You’re a charity beast! According to updated data, the Stronger Together Tous Ensamble televised fundraiser is now the most-watched non-sports broadcast in Canadian history, at 12 million views, and has raised over $8 million dollars for the Food Bank, which explains the website crash!
The event featured the likes of Justin Beiber, Michael Buble, Ryan Reynolds, Mike Myers, and Drake. Also, frontline workers and virus sufferers joined in, all to encourage Canadians who can afford to donate to do so via text or online.

If you guys missed it, the 90-minute program is actually available on most video-on-demand services. We’d definitely recommend watching, especially because they will continue taking donations until Tuesday, May 26th.
All of the money raised for the food bank will provide immediate support to those affected and now vulnerable due to the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition to just food, they will also be able to donate essential support items and will help those who should need assistance if the economy experiences a recession after the virus is under control.
This is going to change a lot of lives, folks. We really are #strongertogether!
