We’re starting to get in the swing of this whole “distancing” thing. Sleep, workout, shower, work, eat, Netflix, repeat. We’d be lying if our favourite time of the day is when we get to feed ourselves, though. Yeah, it tastes great, but it’s also an opportunity to support a local business and feel like we’re making a little bit of a difference! CHAIRMAN’S STEAKHOUSE
Chairman’s is best known for their incredible view, and amazing food. Enjoy at least one of those things by ordering from their extensive menu this week! These guys are offering individual meals, dinners for two, and family take out specials! They also update their meals weekly, so there’s something new to try every few days!

The Cookbook Co. is actually a Calgary culinary store, but since the beginning of the pandemic, they’ve been putting together incredible 3-course weekend meals for families of 4, where $5 from every order placed goes to the Avenue 15 Youth Shelter Program. CARMINE’S PIZZA
We’ve hyped up Carmine’s a couple of times before, but here goes again! They’re one of our favourites and they’re a proud Calgary business. Their pizzas are huge, their pasta is saucy, and their garlic knots are 5-star.

WOW BAKERY
The 11 pm quarantine cravings have been real. What is it about staying inside all day that makes us yearn for black forest cake and scones? Wow Bakery is a local sweet shop that has treated us oh so well while we’ve been social distancing. They’ve got incredible sugary goods, bread, and cookies to go! Order now, thank us later.

SIDEWALK CITIZEN
Sidewalk Citizen has healthy, fresh, tasty options like made from scratch pizzas, soups, stews, pastries, and canned goods. They’re kind of like Calgary’s pantry. They’ve got a little bit of everything, and it’s all local and insanely delish. Whether it’s a midday pick-me-up, a snack, or a full meal, Sidewalk Citizen is a sure thing.
