Calgary attractions offering extended memberships for 2020

Mighty good news for anyone who’s purchased a 2020 membership for one of Calgary’s popular attractions! The Calgary Zoo, Heritage Park, and Telus Spark are all offering to extend annual passes or just totally refund your money.
As we’re sure most of you are aware, although it’s worth it for a lot of people, paying for year-round entry is not cheap. In order to justify a purchase like this, you typically have to go several times. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, it’s been impossible to do so.

The Calgary Zoo and Telus Spark have both agreed to extend all memberships to reflect the duration of their closures. Heritage Park has essentially done the same thing.
Passes were frozen on March 16th when they closed, and have refunded all tickets for any of their prepaid events. If instead of an extension, you’d like to receive a refund for your season pass, you can contact them here. They”re looking at doing so on case to case basis so it’s not a sure thing, but it’s worth giving it a try!
We, for one, will definitely be holding on to all of our Calgary memberships, thank you! We’re going to go Zoo crazy when all of this is over! Oh, man, we miss the outside world.
