5 of the weirdest things happening in Calgary this week

Happy Tuesday, cyber friends! We are really only able to define what fun means to us. See, we usually just dig a good movie and a trendy cocktail bar, but some of you are into brewing polyjuice potions and tying knots with a PBR in hand and we respect that. Luckily we live in a city where we’ve embraced and celebrate our differences, and in YYC there’s a little something for everyone! Here are the 5 weirdest things we found happening in Calgary this week.

If you’re going to jump into a lake that has been frozen for months, for whatever reason, at least learn to do it safely! This event listing literally says you should be crazy to attend but will teach you everything you need to know to ice water dive like a pro. There will even be a BBQ and hot chocolate for anyone that survives. Yeah, okay, like we need another reason to fear for our respiratory systems right now.
