Check out the weirdest things for sale on Craigslist & Kijiji in Calgary
Every once in a while, for a chuckle, we’ll give the social media “buy-and-sell” a good old scroll through. Typically, we’ll see a lot of cars for sale, kitchen appliances, baby clothes and collectables. Other times, we’ll see the indescribable. Today we figured we’d share the underbelly of Kijiji, FBM, and Craigslist. Here are the weirdest things for sale or wanted by people on Calgary’s social media marketplaces. You’re welcome, but also, sorry.
DEMOGORGON COSTUME
There’s an unusual amount of Stranger Things memorabilia on this website, but this was a standout. At first, we were like, “well, Halloween”. But then we read the caption. Whoever is selling this claims they bought it just last week. It’s February. It should also be noted that this was posted in the ‘Baby and Kids’ section of Facebook Marketplace.
CUDDLES
Craigslist fills out its reputation like a scantron bubble during the PAT’s. This strictly platonic service includes “hugs, spooning, snuggling, holding hands, hair play, kindness and conversation.” Find your “authentic self, carry a new sense of freedom into your relationships” but … it’s the internet, so just proceed with caution.

We’re not sure why or who outside of the police force would need this, but sure, we get precaution? We guess? It’s a dangerous world out there, friends. Well, not Matrix or Jason Bourne dangerous day-to-day. But you do you.
SOMEONE’S FEET
This little piggy went to Craigslist, this little piggy wishes they stayed home. This little piggy had questions, then they changed their minds when they considered they might actually get answers. This person is willing to send you pictures or video clips of their feet. What you do with them is your business.

We just hope it’s unused.
WANTED: ODDITIES AND TAXIDERMY
“I am a baby collector. I am looking for antlers, oddities, wet specimens the weird things that everyone says that’s gross or why do you have that.” We commend anyone brave enough to google “wet specimen.”
