You can get locked in the library after hours this Valentine’s Day

Ah, escape rooms. The anxiety-inducing “team builder” where you do nothing of the sort. Usually, you just end up screaming at Greg from HR or you S/O because they couldn’t solve a riddle fast enough. Fun, right? This Valentine’s Day, the Central Library is taking an immersive experience to the next level.
On February 14th, check out the Locked Library. This event will have teams trapped in the building with an allotted amount time to follow clues and solve puzzles in order to escape. No pressure.

Despite a semi-alarming description, there’s no reason to be spooked! The organizers are seasoned professionals! This actually won’t be the CPL’s first time doing something like this. They put on a similar event and saw a turnout of nearly 1,000 people.
Tickets are $31.50 each with proceeds going towards the supporting programs and events like this one, so you’ll be doing a good thing by attending! Also, the first 700 people to show will get a free treat from Village Ice Cream, so there’s that.
After hours tomfoolery in a public building and ice cream? We guess we can put our last escape room experience behind us.
